Centerton Fire Company was incorporated in August of 1966 and today continues to bravely and proudly serve the people of Pittsgrove Township Fire District #3. It is a 100% volunteer organization. The Centerton Fire Company also regularly responds to the surrounding fire districts in both Salem and Cumberland Counties on mutual aid assignments. A total of six pieces of apparatus are operated out of a single station within a 16 square mile primary response district. All members of the Centerton Fire Company are part of the NJ State Fireman’s Association and most of the active members also belong to the Salem County Fireman’s Association.
